I'm a website designer today because I loved learning to design and code in high school but only started taking website design seriously as a potential career when I decided to make the career change in 2015. At that time, I realized that I had already accomplished everything I set out to do in my career as a personal fitness trainer and craved a new professional challenge. I then made it my mission to learn anything I could about the website design industry and immersed myself in all the relevant content I could find. Fortunately for me, a close family friend of mine runs his own website design agency and was able to mentor me by including me in a number of his company's projects while I honed my website design skills. While working on these projects, I had the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from other designers and developers.
